Contact status allows you to track the current status of your Contacts. By default, GoCRM assigns a few status options such as Lead, Customer, Other,and Unqualified.
You can add additional statuses, and edit the existing status names in your settings in the Contact Status tab.
You can rename pre-existing statuses, and select Add New, to create new custom Statuses.
You can assign a frequency to each status. This frequency affects how slow the decay of the relationship strength should happen. Frequency should be how often you should be communicating with that contact status. For example if you want your team to be in touch with leads every 2 weeks, then you can select that time period, and the frequency will be in the red if 2 weeks without communication have happened.
